Why did you choose Upgrowth?

I liked what I read on Upgrowth’s website about culture and approach, particularly as it aligned with how I have enjoyed working in the past. Nick and Steve gave a really good impression in my interview, especially about how they work and how they solve problems for clients. I just had a good feeling about it, and have enjoyed being part of the team ever since.

Describe Upgrowth in one word.

What is/are the things you are passionate about?

Bridging design and engineering in teams, and making products inclusive. I like the challenge of scaling design efficiently. I have had the fortune to have worked in numerous roles across the product development spectrum, and am always keen to get stuck in wherever I can help. Music is a big part of my life, and am seldom found not listening to any. Whether it be Grime, House or Soul — I’m always happiest with some tunes on.

Tell us something about yourself that will surprise us.

I once had a lightsaber fight with my brother in the Radio 1 Live Lounge.

What is your favourite quote?

“I’m not superstitious, but I am a little stitious”

— Michael Scott

If you were to trade places someone else for one month, living or dead, famous or not, fictional or real, whom would you like that person to be?

Jake Peralta from Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Bonus points for spending it in NYC, but with all that he gets up to, would be super fun no doubt, no doubt, no doubt.

What is your favourite drink?

I drink far too many iced latte’s, but from a bar, it has probably got to be a Hop House Lager. It’s super smooth and made by the Guinness Factory!
